3D Dot Game Hero~ 8 bit love in 3D! Earlier this week Atlus released 3D Dot Game Hero for the PS3 in the US. Its a next gen take on RPGs like Zelda. By using 2D style 8 bit pixels but making them 3D, they create a refreshing look and feel to those classic 8 bit RPGs. There’s even a character editor that allows you to create your own 3D Heroes! Atlus has set up a site, Hall of Heroes,that players can post their creations to, although I think they filter it to prevent copyright infringements (boo~!). I haven’t gotten my copy yet though, waiting for a slight price drop and then I will snag a copy from Amazon using a $10 credit I got from a previous purchase… Can’t wait to try out the character editor….what character would you create using the editor?
